One of my favorite things to do is paint portraits that capture the fleeting essence of a person. I look for the spirit, emotion, and humanity within each subject and I love to tell their unique story with paint.

Whether it's a child's innocence, a parent's wisdom, or memories of one passed on, I believe these stories need to be preserved for family and future generations. Portraits have power - they connect us across time.

The portraits in these slides encapsulate tender moments and meaningful memories. A chattering granddaughter, a beloved grandmother, a musical memory, a thoughtful woman, a joyful husband. I am compelled by the richness of human stories and driven to honor them with my brushes.
